The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socha moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vasara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Socha counters with a straight right hand.
A solid body kick from Socha.
Socha dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasara. That did some damage!
Socha pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vasara swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Socha looks to land a combination but Vasara avoids it well.
Vasara blocks a low kick nicely.
Socha looks for the body kick but Vasara saw that one coming.
Socha shoots in for a double leg but Vasara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Socha goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Socha dodges the punch combination from Vasara.
Socha dips to his left and cracks Vasara with an uppercut!
Vasara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Socha.
Vasara throws a big counter combination but Socha scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vasara throws a solid leg kick but Socha takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vasara.
Socha misses the jab.
Socha has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vasara is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Vasara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Socha to counter with a crisp jab.

Vasara tries to clinch up.
Socha is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Vasara throws a series of punches but Socha moves out of range.
Socha gets tackled into the cage by Vasara. Vasara maintains the clinch.
Socha misses with some punches.
Socha lands a hook to the side of the head.
Socha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Socha presses Vasara against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Socha keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vasara's efforts to push away.
Socha lands with a right to the head.
Vasara blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Socha swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Socha throws an elbow but it misses.
The referee calls for Vasara to work.
Socha has a couple of punches blocked by Vasara.
Socha lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vasara backwards.
Vasara wants to break the clinch but can't.
Socha on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Still in the clinch, Socha scores with a nice short uppercut.
Vasara prevents a body shot from Socha.
Socha misses with a body punch.
Socha has a couple of punches blocked by Vasara.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vasara wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Socha has him pressed against the cage.
Vasara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Socha throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Socha checks a leg kick.
Socha swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Vasara keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vasara gets a clinch.
Socha stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Socha tries to land knees in the clinch but Vasara avoids the damage to the body.
Socha swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Socha fails to land.
The referee is keeping an eye on Vasara - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The referee calls for Socha to work.
Vasara wants to break free but Socha has control.
Vasara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Socha lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vasara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vasara throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Socha counters with an inside leg kick.
Vasara has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Sami Vasara has been cut.
Socha attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Vasara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Socha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vasara is rocked!
Vasara lands with a nice body punch.
Oh Vasara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Socha lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vasara misses with a few strikes there.
Socha lands a nice shot to the body.
Socha throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Vasara is breathing heavily.
Socha throws a nice inside leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Socha!

Socha lands with a kick to the ribs.
Socha throws a quick inside leg kick.
Socha lands a big head kick that sends Vasara to the canvas! Socha follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
