The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson throws a right and a left that Polo avoids nicely.
Sam Sanderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Polo lands a big head kick that sends Sanderson tumbling to the mat! Polo takes a step backwards and waves Sanderson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sanderson is rocked!
Polo misses with a head kick.
Sanderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Polo finish him?
Sanderson misses with a two punch combination.
Polo feints and then cracks Sanderson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanderson down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No joy there for Sanderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Polo connects with a leg kick. Sanderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Polo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nice takedown defense from Polo. No joy for Sanderson on that attempt.
That kick from Polo tenderised Sanderson's leg. Sanderson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Polo throws a head kick but Sanderson moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sloppy strikes from Sanderson. Those never looked like landing.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Polo! Sanderson is out on his feet! Polo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sanderson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sanderson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
