Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roberts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Roberts is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Roberts might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wells is defending against the submission attempts here by Roberts.

Well, if Roberts is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Roberts is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Wells is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Wells flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Roberts anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Wells and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Roberts slips an arm under Wells chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Roberts has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Roberts is squeezing on Wells like an anaconda would it's prey. Wells fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
