The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velikopolje goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Felix Tilthammer has been cut.
Tilthammer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Stray Dogs in the buildup to the fight.
Tilthammer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tilthammer misses with a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Tilthammer misses the target.
Velikopolje throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tilthammer.
Velikopolje scores with a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Tilthammer misses its intended target.
Velikopolje throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
We've been informed that Velikopolje has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Velikopolje turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Velikopolje gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tilthammer.
Velikopolje scores with a head kick. Tilthammer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Tilthammer throws a body punch but Velikopolje moves out of range.

Velikopolje swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tilthammer.
Tilthammer throws a good cross that connects.

and Tilthammer counters with a crisp one two that drops Velikopolje! Tilthammer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Velikopolje to his feet! Velikopolje is in big trouble!
Velikopolje is rocked!

Velikopolje tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tilthammer looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tilthammer.
A slow jab from Velikopolje misses its intended target.
Tilthammer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Velikopolje to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Velikopolje looks to clinch but Tilthammer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Velikopolje taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Felix Tilthammer took to the mic in his post fight interview and said '44 years old and I still kicked your ass!'.
