Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yan Beliveau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragov comes to the cage accompanied by Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valko Dragov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yan Beliveau!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Beliveau closes the distance but Dragov moves to the side
and Dragov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Beliveau walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dragov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
It looked like Dragov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dragov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dragov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Beliveau has momentary wrist control but Dragov slips an elbow through the middle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dragov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dragov connects with a couple of short punches.
Dragov is in close to Beliveau's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dragov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beliveau swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beliveau can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dragov controls the pace.

Dragov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Beliveau is in trouble now - Dragov has advanced to mount!
Dragov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Beliveau is rocked!
Dragov loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Beliveau scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dragov land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dragov stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Valko Dragov!
A relieved looking Valko Dragov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
