Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scottie Veins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scottie Veins!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Veins scores with a four punch combination!
Wayne takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Veins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
It seemed like Veins was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Veins throws the left hand but Wayne avoids the punch easily.
Veins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wayne doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Veins to counter with a crisp jab.
Wayne shoots in but no luck this time.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown but Veins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Veins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wayne prevents Veins from getting back to his feet.

Wayne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wayne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Veins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wayne is looking to work some ground and pound but Veins has wrist control.

and Veins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Veins throws a right hand that Wayne ducks under and follows up with a left that Wayne also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Wayne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Veins, pushing him back against the cage.
Veins can't break the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Wayne pulls Veins into guard.
Wayne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Veins's guard.

Veins is looking to stand up but Wayne isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wayne sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Veins's guard.

Wayne is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Veins is in trouble now - Wayne has advanced to mount!
Wayne is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Wayne in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Veins squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Wayne trying to control but Veins is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wayne looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Wayne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wayne looking to secure an arm triangle but Veins defends it well.
Wayne scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Wayne is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Veins is forced to tap! Great finish!
