The crowd seem to be enjoying O Neill's choice of entrance music: Survival. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neill cracks Soto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Good shot there by O Neill.
O Neill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soto.
Soto misses with a wild body shot.
Soto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
O Neill on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Soto throws a shot to the body.
O Neill misses with an uppercut.
It looked like Soto was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from O Neill.
Soto connects with a body shot that sends O Neill's belly button to the back.
O Neill throws a series of strikes that have Soto backpedaling.
O Neill misses with a few strikes there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
O Neill throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Soto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
O Neill moves out of range of the strikes.
Soto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
O Neill gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Soto punishes O Neill's body with a nice straight punch.
O Neill on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Soto lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Soto looks to land a left hand but O Neill moved out of range nicely.

Soto takes one to the chin there.
Soto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. O Neill sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Soto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Soto scores with a nice right hand.
O Neill tries to clinch but Soto moves away
and Soto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Soto misses with a hook. O Neill ducked under it nicely.
Soto keeps the fight on the outside.
An attempted straight right counter from Soto misses the target.
Soto jabs at O Neill's body.
O Neill lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
O Neill gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! O Neill tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Soto is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and O Neill buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves O Neill!! O Neill is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Soto throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Soto!
An out of breath Carlos Soto thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Bosco O Neill spoke after the fight, saying 'ima hit the gym hard now bitches'.
