The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rammhammer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Connor backs up against the cage.
Rammhammer lands a jab.
Connor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rammhammer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Connor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Connor shoots in looking for a takedown. Rammhammer tries to sprawl out of it but Connor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rammhammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Connor shoots in for a takedown but Rammhammer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rudolf Rammhammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uni Connor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rammhammer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Connor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Connor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Connor moves forwards but Rammhammer connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice shot lands for Rammhammer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Connor shoots for a double leg takedown but Rammhammer sprawls well. He's pushed Connor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Uni Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Connor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Connor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rammhammer!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Rammhammer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Connor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Connor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rammhammer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rammhammer scores with a jab. Connor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rammhammer lands with a straight right. Connor didn't see that one coming.

Connor is rocked!
Connor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Connor is still on wobbly legs! Can Rammhammer finish him?
Connor throws a sloppy head kick
and Rammhammer counters with a right hand to the body.
Connor looks winded!
BOOM! Rammhammer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Connor. Connor tries to recover but Rammhammer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Connor lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
