Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Han Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Labosky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, John Williams - Star Wars Theme. Jean Labosky will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky lands with a straight right. Solo didn't see that one coming.
Solo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Labosky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Labosky lands a nice leg kick that just misses Solo's sensitive parts.

Solo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Labosky defends it nicely.

Solo shoots in looking for a takedown. Labosky tries to sprawl out of it but Solo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Labosky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Labosky's corner calls for a 1-2. Labosky obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Labosky pushes Solo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Solo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Han Solo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Solo postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
