Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregers Westerberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B A Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westerberg comes to the cage accompanied by Maitre Gims - J'me Tire. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westerberg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ware.
Westerberg throws a shot from downtown. Ware moves away and avoids it.
Ware looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ware slips a jab and a cross from Westerberg.
Westerberg sizes up Ware with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Westerberg lands a jab to the nose.

Ware fails with an attempt to clinch.
Westerberg throws a lazy right hand but Ware sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Westerberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ware circles away quickly and effectively.
Gregers Westerberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ware counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ware moves into the clinch.
Ware can't find room to land a body shot as Westerberg controls the action.
Westerberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ware pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Westerberg lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ware is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ware lands an elbow that stopped Westerberg in his tracks for a moment.

Ware wants to counter with a clinch but Westerberg pushes him away.

A head kick lands from Ware that sends Westerberg to the canvas. Westerberg tries to scramble back to his feet but Ware brings him back down into side control.

Jeez, Gregers Westerberg's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ware lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Westerberg down.
