The crowd seem to be enjoying Daniels's choice of entrance music: Military Soviet Hymn . Jack Daniels has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels misses with a straight right.
Daniels throws the left hand but Ya Xu avoids the punch easily.
Ya Xu throws a right and a left that Daniels avoids nicely.
Daniels falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ya Xu counters with a shoot takedown. Daniels fights it but they end up in guard.
Ya Xu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Daniels wants to stand and escape but Ya Xu is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels trying to control the position here.
Ya Xu wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ya Xu is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Daniels is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Daniels lands a left and a right that sends Ya Xu crashing to the canvas! Daniels dives into mount looking to finish!
Ya Xu is rocked!
It looks like Jing Ya Xu has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniels stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Oh Ya Xu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Daniels cracks Ya Xu with a left hook right on the temple and Ya Xu goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Daniels lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Ya Xu is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Daniels!
