The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe doesn't manage to clinch there - Voorhees circles away.
Sharpe throws a shot from downtown. Voorhees moves away and avoids it.
A head kick misses from Voorhees.
Sharpe slips under a jab from Voorhees.
Sharpe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Voorhees rushes Sharpe and presses him up against the cage.
Sharpe tries for a takedown but Voorhees manages to get underhooks.
Sharpe has Voorhees pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Voorhees manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Voorhees escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sharpe moves into range and clinches up with Voorhees.

Sharpe has picked Voorhees up - he's going for a ride! Sharpe dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voorhees is trying is best to control the position here.

Voorhees moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Voorhees lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
