The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Girder as Peruchi shoots in.
Girder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peruchi thows a body kick. Girder tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Girder shoots in and bounces Peruchi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Peruchi is staying active underneath Girder, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Girder is looking to advance position but Peruchi won't allow it.

Girder is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Girder frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Peruchi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Girder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Girder has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Peruchi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Girder gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
