Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse The Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sub Zero could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesse The Devil's chin.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Devil slips a straight right by Zero.
Zero throws a chopping leg kick but The Devil manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Zero tries to clinch up.
The Devil shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zero as he jumps to the side.
Zero swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zero with a lazy takedown attempt
and The Devil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The Devil is tying to control. Zero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The Devil is pressing down on Zero's thigh, looking to free his foot. Zero is holding on for now.
Zero is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Devil's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Devil's back!
Zero thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Zero has the hooks in. The Devil is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Zero doesn't have the hooks in and The Devil manages to turn into his guard.

The Devil is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zero's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zero's back!
Zero breaks The Devil's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Zero avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The Devil working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Zero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Zero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The Devil is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The Devil thows a body shot but no joy.

and The Devil counters by clinching up.

The Devil ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. The Devil no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Devil had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zero is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Devil Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zero's back instead.

The Devil looking to break Zero's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Zero remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise The Devil will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The Devil is trying to stick to Zero's back but Zero is turning into The Devil. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in The Devil's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zero.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zero accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The Devil is trying to keep Zero in close.
The Devil might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zero kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The Devil working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Zero slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

That's time! Zero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Zero closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zero lands in his opponent's guard.

The Devil has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zero throws a strike but The Devil rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The Devil drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zero!
Sub Zero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The Devil tries to buck Zero off but Zero is having none of it.
The Devil takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Zero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. The Devil is trying to escape and Zero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and The Devil is forced to tap! Nice work there by Zero! Very nice indeed!
