The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Combs forces Jaera back against the cage and clinches.

Jaera lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Combs keeping moving, preventing Jaera from controlling successfully.
Jaera looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jaera in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Jaera wants to pass the guard but Combs is keeping the position.
Jaera throws a strike but Combs rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jaera is on top in guard.

Jaera postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Combs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jaera throws a big right hand that misses.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Combs holds on and takes a little breather.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jaera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jaera lands a couple of digs.
Jaera is looking to work some ground and pound but Combs has wrist control.
Jaera is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jaera's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Combs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jaera connects with a couple of short punches.

Combs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jaera looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Combs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Combs is breathing heavily.
Jaera seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jaera tries to pass to full mount but Combs defends it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jaera takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Combs is rocked!
Jaera lands a big elbow - Combs is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jaera!
