Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaspar Kohler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiri Parata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Parata's choice of entrance music: Rumplestiltskin. Kaspar Kohler had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaspar Kohler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kiri Parata!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parata takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Parata attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A low kick from Kohler misses
and Parata cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parata tried to score with a low kick but Kohler checks it.
Parata tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kohler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Parata looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kohler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kohler has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kohler moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kohler misses with a lunging right hand
and Parata counters with a crisp right that sends Kohler to the canvas! Parata follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kiri Parata!
Kiri Parata is the new middleweight champion!
Kiri Parata seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Kaspar Kohler had this to say: 'No excuses better man won.. Gongrats to Kiri'.
