The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Buchanan finds it's target.

Beast Mode seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Buchanan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Buchanan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Beast Mode has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Buchanan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Beast Mode's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beast Mode fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buchanan avoids it really well and circles away.
As Beast Mode looks to move away, Buchanan throws a big counter combo bu Beast Mode just gets out of the way.
