The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolton.
Bolton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Simpson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bolton is trying to defend but Simpson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Simpson thuds his right hand into Bolton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Dudley Bolton has been cut.

Simpson dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Bolton has had enough and taps out.
