The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nemo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nemo showed some decent athleticism there.
Pandya makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pandya.

Pandya had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nemo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pandya Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nemo's back instead.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pandya's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
