Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Borys Maniek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdulla Quliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Borys Maniek has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Borys Maniek seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quliev is looking to land body kicks.
Quliev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quliev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quliev wants it to stay on the feet.
Quliev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Maniek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Quliev goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Borys Maniek has been cut.
Quliev catches Maniek with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Horrible takedown attempt by Maniek or perhaps it was just good defense by Quliev, which made it look bad.

Maniek tries to clinch up but Quliev circles away and keeps his distance.
Quliev drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Maniek defends it well.

Maniek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quliev swivels and escapes.

Quliev fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Maniek on the side of the head.
Maniek darts in looking for a takedown but Quliev gets double underhooks and turns Maniek into the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Quliev. Maniek shrugs it off though.

Maniek misses with a takedown attempt - Quliev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Quliev closes the distance and pushes Maniek back into the cage.
Maniek tries to break free but Quliev pushes him back against the cage.
Quliev misses with a knee to the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Quliev lands a knee to the head.
Maniek has had enough of the clinch but Quliev keeps him there for the moment.
Quliev connects with a nasty looking knee right to Maniek's face.
Quliev lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Oh Maniek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Maniek is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Quliev pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Quliev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
