The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Xi Jia throws out a counter right but Charco avoids it with no problem.
We've been informed that Xi Jia has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Charco closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Xi Jia's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Charco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Charco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Xi Jia sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Charco's guard.

Kang Xi Jia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
