Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arilio Rivaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arilio Rivaldo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivaldo defending well as Gilbert loads up on a big left hand.
Rivaldo unleashes a big counter combination but Gilbert bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rivaldo lands with a nice combination. Gilbert backs away looking to recover.
Gilbert closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rivaldo to the mat! Rivaldo manages to get full guard.
Gilbert stands up and waves to Rivaldo to follow him.
Gilbert moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivaldo lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Ruben Gilbert has been cut.
Gilbert tries to land knees in the clinch but Rivaldo avoids the damage to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Ruben Gilbert will probably get the nod.

Rivaldo has his hands clasped together but Gilbert extends and breaks Rivaldo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gilbert.
