The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins shoots for a double leg takedown but Pelle sprawls well. He's pushed Martins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pelle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Martins was well out of range. Poor timing from Pelle.
Martins shoots in and drives through. Pelle sprawls well.

It looks like Marcio Martins has been cut.
Amis Pelle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcio Martins.
Pelle digs a good hook to Martins's body.
Martins has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Pelle drops Martins with a beautiful combination! Martins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pelle is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pelle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A countering left hand to the body from Martins misses.
Pelle walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Martins drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pelle swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Martins's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amis Pelle!
In his post fight interview, Amis Pelle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
