Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lancaster's entrance music is Raekwon - Guillotine(Swordz). A fine choice. Brown has chosen Many Men by 50 Cent as his entrance music. Kirk Lancaster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Lancaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Brown!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown motions for Lancaster to come forward. Brown throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lancaster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lancaster connects with a right hand. Brown shakes it off.
Lancaster avoids the head kick by Brown.
A jab from Brown misses.
Brown throws a sloppy head kick

and Lancaster counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.
Lancaster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lancaster preventing the sweep.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lancaster seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but Lancaster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lancaster stays in close to Brown's body and controls the position.

Brown is looking for a triangle but Lancaster pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lancaster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Lancaster.
Brown throws out a counter right but Lancaster avoids it with no problem.
Brown has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Lancaster.
Brown loads up on a big right hand but Lancaster slips the punch.
Lancaster connects with a jab.

Lancaster shoots in and gets a takedown into Brown's guard.
Lancaster is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lancaster advances position into side control!
Brown takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Lancaster advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lancaster looking to finish Brown with some ground and pound. This is bad for Brown!

Brown is rocked!

It looks like Chris Brown has been cut.
Lancaster postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Brown in real trouble here! The ref calls for Brown to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kirk Lancaster!
After winning the bout, Kirk Lancaster thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Chris Brown spoke after the fight, saying 'Tonight was not my night, but i can promise all these great fans that I will be back and i will be better'.
