The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathews throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mathews throws a hook but Marcus blocks it.
Marcus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mathews throws out the jab.

Marcus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Marcus tries to bum rush Mathews with a series of wild strikes but Mathews uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marcus throws a switch kick that catches Mathews on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Mathews looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Mathews flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Simon Marcus!
Simon Marcus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
