Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Beggar So (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think So might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rubberband Man. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Beggar So!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
So lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
So doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Chaos.
Chaos misses with a two punch combination.
Chaos tries to bum rush So with a series of wild strikes but So uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice inside leg kick there by Chaos. That's going to slow So down.

Chaos clinches.

So gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Chaos avoiding damage under a succession of punches from So.
Chaos felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
So lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
So controlling the pace.
Chaos wants to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

So shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chaos is trying to defend but So finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chaos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by So.
So fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chaos manages to avoid it.
Chaos throws a nice outside leg kick.
Chaos scores with a jab. So acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Chaos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. So looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chaos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
So throws a quick inside leg kick.

Chaos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chaos can't break the clinch.
Chaos is trying to break the clinch but So is controlling him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
So is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Chaos is defending well.

So has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chaos uses from the top position.
So pulls Chaos in close to prevent any damage.
Chaos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with So. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

So trying to control but Chaos is working from the bottom.
So looking to pass the guard.

So controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
So postures up.
So trying to control but Chaos is working from the bottom.
So is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chaos tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Chaos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Chaos chopping away at his opponent's legs.

So attempts a counter takedown but Chaos avoids it well and moves away.
So on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chaos. Chaos obviously looking to wear him down.
So tries to clinch but Chaos is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
So throws a looping overhand right but Chaos ducks down to avoid it.

Chaos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

So drives through with a takedown into guard.
So throwing strikes but missing.
So is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

So wants to control from the top but Chaos keeps moving.
Chaos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as So controls the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

So throws a low kick, looking for Chaos's leg but Chaos calmly moves out of range.
Chaos ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
So misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chaos.

Chaos slips under a jab from So.
So looks to score with a jab to the body but Chaos is just out of range.
Chaos fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Chaos cracks So with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Chaos scores with a one two! So had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Chaos blocks a leg kick.
So looks to score with a jab to the body but Chaos is just out of range.
A big right from So misses.
Chaos throws a right and a left that So avoids nicely.
Chaos throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chaos misses with a few strikes there.
So tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Chaos manages to circle out of the way.
So misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chaos counters with a nice body shot.
So is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Chaos pushes So up against the cage in a clinch.
So is trying to pull guard but Chaos turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Chaos wants to break the clinch but can't.
So swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chaos stalling the fight.
Chaos avoiding damage as So throws knees to the body.

Chaos gets control of So's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chaos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
So's corner is telling him to maintain position.
So passes Chaos's left leg - he's now in half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Anderson Chaos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chaos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
