The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datysuk gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Datysuk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Datysuk goes for a double leg but Battle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Battle continues to drive forward.
Battle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pavel Datysuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Datysuk is working to tighten his grip on Battle's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Battle has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Datysuk is really squeezing tight and eventually Battle passes out! Datysuk breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
