Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Van Winkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Yikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yikes throws a right and a left that Van Winkle avoids nicely.
Yikes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Van Winkle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Yikes is controlling Van Winkle's posture.
Yikes is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Van Winkle dives into side control.
Van Winkle is trying to get an arm triangle but Yikes is defending well.
Van Winkle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yikes, who protects the arm well.

Yikes felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Van Winkle is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Yikes defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Van Winkle is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Van Winkle hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
