Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sick Puppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandoval is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Overseer - Slayed. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Puppy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sandoval changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Puppy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Puppy wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sandoval looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
