Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emong Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Wietrzny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salvacion comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. Wietrzny has chosen Hunter-Fallen as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Emong Salvacion has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Emong Salvacion seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salvacion closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Salvacion lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salvacion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wietrzny has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Salvacion can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wietrzny is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wietrzny escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Salvacion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wietrzny buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Salvacion shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wietrzny eats them both and turns towards Salvacion to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Salvacion tries to bum rush Wietrzny with a series of wild strikes but Wietrzny uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wietrzny leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Salvacion counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Salvacion rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wietrzny moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Salvacion is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wietrzny is just riding it out for now. Salvacion eventually gives up the hold.

Salvacion looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wietrzny with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wietrzny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Salvacion manages to avoid it.

Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wietrzny sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wietrzny! But no joy.
