Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Cocher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eliseo Allen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Eliseo Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Albert Cocher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cocher looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Allen is trying to stand.
Cocher content to control rather than advance.
Allen wants to improve his position but Cocher is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cocher is looking to advance position but Allen won't allow it.
Cocher wants to control but Allen is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen wants to get back to his feet.
Allen won't allow Cocher to pass to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Allen goes for a double leg but Cocher avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cocher continues to drive forward.

Cocher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cocher trying to control the position from guard on top but Allen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cocher wants to pass the guard but Allen is keeping the position.
Allen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cocher controls the pace.
Allen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cocher won't allow Allen to get back to his feet.

Cocher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Allen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cocher is stalling in the full guard.

Allen pushes Cocher off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Cocher forces Allen back against the cage and clinches.

Allen jumps guard.
Allen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cocher won't allow Allen to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cocher sitting in guard here, content to control.
Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Cocher is proving a slippery customer.
Cocher trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Allen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cocher defends well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Allen pushes Cocher off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Cocher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Allen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cocher decides to stand back up.
Cocher scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Eliseo Allen has been cut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Cocher shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cocher looks winded!
Allen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cocher is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cocher misses with some ground and pound and Allen recovers position to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Allen is trying to stand up here but Cocher is controlling him well.

Allen wants to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Allen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Allen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Allen tries for a kimura but Cocher is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Cocher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cocher is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Allen is staying active.

Allen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cocher, who protects the arm well.

Allen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cocher is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cocher manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Allen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cocher closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Cocher closes the distance and pushes Allen back into the cage.

Cocher breaks from the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen defending well as Cocher loads up on a big left hand.
Cocher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Allen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Albert Cocher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Allen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Allen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cocher defends well and Allen ends up having to push Cocher into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Albert Cocher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Allen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cocher has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cocher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Allen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Cocher is looking to take a break and control but Allen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cocher looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Allen!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cocher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working.

Allen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Cocher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Allen is trying to control but can't.
Allen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Allen.
Cocher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Cocher is proving a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cocher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cocher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cocher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Allen is keeping the position for now.

Allen is working an open guard so Cocher takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Allen shoots in but no luck this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Allen throws a body shot but no joy.
Cocher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Allen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eliseo Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cocher has managed to clinch.
Cocher is trying to force a seperation but Allen has the dominant position.
Cocher tries to break the clinch but Allen is controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cocher is trying to break the clinch but Allen has him pressed against the cage.

Cocher gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Allen regains guard.
Cocher slips nicely into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Albert Cocher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cocher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
