Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Pulse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rimario Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Pulse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Pulse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rimario Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulse cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Pulse displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.
Pulse throws a big counter combination but Gracie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pulse's half guard.
Gracie is looking to pass Pulse's guard but actually Pulse recovers to full guard.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pulse is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pulse has escaped and now he's on top!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pulse manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pulse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pulse stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pulse!
Gracie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Pulse is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ben Pulse will probably get the nod.
That's time! Pulse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pulse scores with a jab to the body.
Pulse looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pulse, right into the meat.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Pulse to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Rimario Gracie has been cut.
Pulse connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Pulse misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pulse throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Gracie colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Pulse as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Gracie is left battered and dazed whilst Pulse and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Pulse!
