The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young pushes down on Wilkins's head and hops out.
Young pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Wilkins shoots in for a takedown but Young shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wilkins's coach down at Cozad MMA London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wilkins's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wilkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Young tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wilkins is in Young's guard.

Wilkins is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wilkins hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
