Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Par Gyi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ven Emanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Par Gyi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ven Emanenko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanenko fails with a takedown attempt.
Gyi fails with the takedown.
Emanenko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Emanenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Gyi tries to sprawl out of it but Emanenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gyi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gyi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gyi shoots for a takedown but Emanenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Par Gyi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Emanenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Gyi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Emanenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gyi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gyi goes for a double leg but Emanenko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Emanenko continues to drive forward.
Emanenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gyi but Gyi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Emanenko darts in and clinches Gyi up against the cage.
Emanenko is pressed up against the cage. Gyi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Emanenko down to the mat. Emanenko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Emanenko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gyi throws a big counter combination but Emanenko scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Emanenko instigates a clinch.
Gyi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Gyi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Emanenko fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Emanenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gyi tries to avoid it but Emanenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gyi to the ground. Gyi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gyi shoots in but Emanenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Emanenko changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Gyi closes the distance and clinches.
Emanenko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gyi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Emanenko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gyi prevents it.

Emanenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Emanenko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gyi thinking.

Emanenko has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gyi.
Gyi shoots for a takedown but Emanenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Gyi backs off Emanenko throws a huge counter combo but Gyi manages to avoid it all.
Gyi wants to clinch up but Emanenko keeps it at a distance.
Emanenko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Emanenko dives in and grabs Gyi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gyi pushes down on Emanenko's head and hops out.
Emanenko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Emanenko wants it to stay on the feet.

Nice takedown defense from Gyi. No joy for Emanenko on that attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gyi.
Emanenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gyi.
Emanenko darts in looking for a takedown but Gyi gets double underhooks and turns Emanenko into the cage.

Emanenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ven Emanenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Gyi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emanenko. That did some damage!

Emanenko tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gyi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gyi manages to end up in side control.
Emanenko avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gyi.
Emanenko is trying to improve his position.
Emanenko is trying to get back to his feet.
Emanenko is looking for a sweep.
