The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Mac Airt.
Fletcher closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mac Airt lands a slapping body shot.
Fletcher shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mac Airt misses with an uppercut.
Fletcher seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Fletcher wants to clinch up but Mac Airt keeps it at a distance.

Mac Airt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oh Fletcher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mac Airt pounces like a tiger and cracks Fletcher with a vicious hook! Fletcher is down but not out! Mac Airt follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

In his post fight interview, Cormac Mac Airt gave a big smile as he said '"With a host, with a valiant band Well did he go into Connacht. Alas, that he saw the blood of Conn On the side of Cuchulain's sword!"'.
