Overeem comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'One' by Swedish House Mafia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Overeem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Monroe somewhat.
