Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Castiel Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Deadwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Angel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carry on my wayward son. Derrick Deadwood will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Derrick Deadwood has been cut.

Deadwood closes the distance and clinches.
Angel can't break the clinch.

Angel struggles to land a body shot inside as Deadwood controls his hands.
Angel tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Angel throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Deadwoods head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Angel tightens his grip and picks Deadwood up, before dumping him to the ground. Deadwood manages to land in guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Angel's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Oh Angel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Angel misses with a low kick as Deadwood jumps back.
Angel seems to have got his legs back now.
Deadwood tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Deadwood counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Deadwood wants to clinch.
Deadwood takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Deadwood! But no joy.
Derrick Deadwood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Deadwood cracks Angel with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Angel tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Deadwood pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Angel is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After winning the bout, Derrick Deadwood thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
