Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Moxson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louden Swain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moxson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zombie by Cranberries. Swain has chosen Gambler as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moxson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Moxson misses with a takedown attempt
and Swain counters with a left to the body.
Swain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moxson.
Swain gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Moxson.
Moxson tries to clinch but Swain moves out of range.
Moxson misses with a looping right.
Moxson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Swain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Swain's coach down at Cheap Elites! Golden Eye Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Swain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Moxson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swain.
Swain looks for a takedown but Moxson sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moxson is looking for a sweep.

Swain is working to tighten his grip on Moxson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Moxson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Swain is really squeezing tight and eventually Moxson passes out! Swain breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
