The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guardia shoots for a double leg takedown but Hayabusa sprawls well. He's pushed Guardia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hayabusa fires out a quick counter leg kick but Guardia just manages to avoid it.
Bob Guardia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guardia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hayabusa as he jumps to the side.

Guardia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hayabusa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
