Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olen Byers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaquille ONeal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olen Byers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Olen Byers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shaquille ONeal!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Byers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Byers blocks a leg kick.
Byers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
ONeal darts in looking for a takedown but Byers gets double underhooks and turns ONeal into the cage.
Byers tries a head kick but it misses.
ONeal throws a series of punches but Byers moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shaquille ONeal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Byers lands with a kick to the temple. ONeal shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
ONeal avoids the head kick by Byers.
ONeal looks for a takedown but Byers sprawls well.
Byers throws a big counter combination but ONeal scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Byers throws a right and a left that ONeal avoids nicely.

ONeal instigates a clinch.
ONeal tries to score a body lock takedown but Byers shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Byers tries to throw a body punch but ONeal avoids it by throwing Byers back against the cage.

ONeal jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Byers slowing the pace effectively.
A frustrated look appears on Byers's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A short body shot lands from ONeal as the two fighters clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Olen Byers will probably get the nod.
