Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lazerus The Prophet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Prophet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The Prophet swings and misses with a hook to the body.
King wants to clinch up but The Prophet keeps it at a distance.
King tries to clinch but The Prophet moves out of range.
King is looking to clinch but The Prophet is avoiding it.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but The Prophet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The Prophet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The Prophet fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. King sprawls well initially but The Prophet persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Prophet stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows King to get to his feet.
King tries to clinch but The Prophet moves out of range.

The Prophet is pushing down on King's leg trying to pass to half guard. King is fighting to maintain full guard but The Prophet has managed to sneak the leg through.
The Prophet is taking a breather. King says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The Prophet wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs.
King wants to get back to full guard but The Prophet has passed into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The Prophet is standing up, even though he is in mount.
King wants to clinch.
The Prophet throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The Prophet looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for King!
King is trying to stand up.

The Prophet postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. King looks a forlorn figure.

King is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The Prophet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The Prophet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

King moves in looking to clinch but The Prophet pushes him off.

The Prophet digs a right hand into King's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on King's gas tank.
King throws a knee to the head but misses.
A head punch on the inside from The Prophet fails to land.

The Prophet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King wants to clinch but The Prophet slips to the side

so The Prophet counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
King is looking to stand up but The Prophet isn't so interested in that idea.

The Prophet gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
King tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and The Prophet counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Prophet.
Lazerus The Prophet overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Prophet postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
King trying to keep a closed guard but The Prophet is proving a slippery customer.

The Prophet stands up from King's guard - The Prophet perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tom King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King misses with a head kick.
Lazerus The Prophet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The Prophet clinches up against the cage.

King is fighting off a takedown attempt but The Prophet is just too persistent for him and manages to trip King to the mat. King regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The Prophet is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

King pushes The Prophet off looking to stand but The Prophet dives back in and keeps control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Prophet's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Prophet cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
King wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lazerus The Prophet dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

King tries to clinch but The Prophet moves away

and The Prophet counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

King wants to get back to his feet but The Prophet drags him back down.

The Prophet has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

King has hold of The Prophet's hands but The Prophet slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Prophet, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
