Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alejanrdo Cordoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatty McFatty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordoba connects with a single shot there.
McFatty misses with a series of wild punches.
McFatty misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cordoba throws a left and a right that both miss
and McFatty counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Alejanrdo Cordoba has been cut.
Cordoba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McFatty tries to avoid it but Cordoba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McFatty to the ground. McFatty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cordoba lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cordoba fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McFatty swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cordoba.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cordoba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cordoba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cordoba stands and steps away. McFatty gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
McFatty takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cordoba lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McFatty backs up against the cage.

McFatty takes a shot to the body in his stride.

McFatty gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McFatty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cordoba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McFatty wants to stand and escape but Cordoba is having none of it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McFatty is on top in guard.

Cordoba is squirming around, avoiding McFatty's attempts to control the action.
Cordoba is in a horrible position here. McFatty smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

McFatty has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cordoba's face.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McFatty shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cordoba's guard.

Cordoba's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? McFatty is holding on here and Cordoba must be using up a lot of energy. McFatty has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cordoba gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
