Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kogata Munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, George Wilson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Wilson misses.
Munoz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilson as he avoids it easily.
Munoz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Munoz. Munoz gets slowly back to his feet.

Wilson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

George Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Munoz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Munoz is in Wilson's guard.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Munoz defends it easily.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Munoz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Munoz cracks Wilson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Wilson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Munoz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wilson is desperately trying to improve his position but Munoz has a good base and remains in mount.

Munoz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Munoz lands in his opponent's guard.

Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Munoz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Munoz stands up.
Munoz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wilson swivels and escapes.
Wilson tries to bum rush Munoz with a series of wild strikes but Munoz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Munoz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Munoz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wilson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Munoz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wilson misses with a wild combination.
Munoz half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Munoz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kogata Munoz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
George Wilson spoke after the fight, saying 'I want a rematch Tommy'.
