The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amando Vito tests Francego's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Amando Vito drops Francego with a beautiful combination! Francego stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Amando Vito is looking for the KO!
It looks like Louis Francego has been cut.
Amando Vito digs a good body shot into Francego's ribs.
Francego closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Amando Vito pushes Francego off looking to stand but Francego dives back in and keeps control.
Francego is looking to advance position but Amando Vito won't allow it.
Francego is working for a kimura but Amando Vito is defending it quite comfortably.
Francego perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Amando Vito has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Francego is on him like a limpet, forcing Amando Vito back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Amando Vito gets underhooks to prevent Francego's takedown attempt.
Amando Vito pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Amando Vito tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Amando Vito lands with a straight right. Francego didn't see that one coming.
Francego looks winded!
Francego shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amando Vito defends it nicely.
Amando Vito misses with a wild body shot.
