The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Murphy stalks Bernados and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bernados's face. Bernados staggers backwards, shaken.
A telegraphed right hand from Murphy misses the target.
Bernados seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Murphy misses with a looping left.
Bernados wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
A big left from Murphy misses.
Bernados tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Murphy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Murphy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bernados under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murphy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Murphy might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well Murphy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
