The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olujimi looks to throw the jab but Tanba is out of range.
Olujimi throws a combination. Tanba tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Kazushi Tanba has been cut.
Olujimi misses with a wild combination.
Tanba on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Tanba throws a leg kick which misses Olujimi's front leg but catches the back leg as Olujimi tries to avoid it.
Olujimi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tanba fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Olujimi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Olujimi throws a nice looking combination but Tanba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tanba doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Olujimi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Adegoke Olujimi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tanba looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Olujimi!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tanba working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Olujimi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tanba is working away from the top position though.

Tanba postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Olujimi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Olujimi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
