The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pierce keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pelaez's efforts to push away.
Pelaez tries to land knees in the clinch but Pierce avoids the damage to the body.
Pelaez wants to break free but Pierce has control.
Pelaez misses with a punch to the body.

Pierce has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pelaez after a bit of a struggle.
A frustrated look appears on Pelaez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
