Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saif Rasheed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scandal / Shunkan Sentimental. Brandon Rush is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasheed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rush avoids it really well and circles away.
Rasheed on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rush darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rush lands a jab to Rasheed's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rasheed fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

enabling Rush to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saif Rasheed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rush thows a left - swing and a miss!

Rush swings for the body but Rasheed moves out of range.
Rasheed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rush looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rush takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rush closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rasheed fails with the takedown
and Rush counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rasheed thinking.
Rush is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rasheed.
Rasheed misses with a takedown attempt
and Rush counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rush has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Rush has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Rush swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rush slaps away a takedown attempt from Rasheed, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rush swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rasheed with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rush to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
and Rush counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Rasheed! He's just covering up as Rush starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
