Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz fails with the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Maximus misses the target.
Maximus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Maximus slaps away a takedown attempt from Cruz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Naughtius Maximus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Cruz.
Cruz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maximus.

Maximus stuffs the takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.

Maximus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maximus wants it to stay on the feet.
Maximus feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt - Maximus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Maximus cracks Cruz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maximus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cruz to stand back up!

Maximus fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cruz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cruz looks to clinch but Maximus throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cruz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
