The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bann.
Bann tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Bann gets to mount! Jodorowsky was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Bann avoids the attempt from Jodorowsky to control.
Jodorowsky is squirming around, avoiding Bann's attempts to control the action.

Bann is really struggling to control Jodorowsky but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bann will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jodorowsky wants to hold on but Bann pushes him away.

Bann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jodorowsky can do to turn this around?
Bann is stalling here but it's allowed Jodorowsky to get half guard.

Bann is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jodorowsky can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jodorowsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jodorowsky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jodorowsky wants it to stay on the feet.
